PDHS Goes to the Movies

To celebrate the end of exams for high school students and the middle of the year marker for all students, PDHS went for an afternoon at the movies.  We had a great time and most importantly we got to check out the new "Closed Captions" devices available for DHH people.  Our group split up at the movies, half of us (the girls) went to See Sherlock Homes and the other half (the boys) went to see Mission Impossible.  Unfortunately the new closed caption system did not work properly at the Mission Impossible movie, but worked great at Sherlock Holmes.  I loved it and will deifnately use the 6 free passes the theatre gave us in compensation to  invite the students out again to see a movie using this technology!
